Happiness fills our hearts as we leave our heads behind and just lay together peacefully, entangled in his arms on the crowded seat that we claim as our own. I glance up and see him, gazing off into the distance, with a look of pride and joy in his eyes. I burrow my face deeper into his chest, to show him that I am here with him forever. His scent entrances me and makes me drowsy, but I keep holding on to consciousness, so as not to lose the time I have here with him. The steady thump of his heart seems to cease before continuing to pump at a much faster speed. He holds me closer and the smooth skin of his hand starts to run through my hair.

Minutes are prolonged and hours seem like years. The slow ticking of the clock rings in my ears, drowning out all other noises. The seconds wear away my composure, pounding in my head like a jackhammer as my throat burns from choked back sobs. My eyes swell like a dam ready to burst at any time. Ever since I did that STUPID project about Japan in my English class, I've been obsessed with writing haikus. So excited because I finally had one that turned out well, that I could actually post on the interwebs. >:) Also, I got bored in history today, and I remembered Alexia telling me to write a letter to a certain person to help clear my head. I did that. For like 3 people instead of 1.... but hey, it worked!
